1960s Round Extendable Danish Dining Table by Niels Otto Møller in Rosewood

Round extendable rosewood dining table designed Niels Otto Møller for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in the 1960s Denmark.
The table top is professional refinished with water resistant lacquer and features a very rich and warm wood grain. Because of the high quality water resistant lacquer, you don’t have te be afraid for water stains in the wood by daily use.
The diameter is 123 cm, about 48″, and can be extended with a middle section of 50 cm / 19″, what makes the total with of the table 173 cm / 68″.
Møller is one of the high end quality furniture makers that use massive rosewood around the table top. The Legs are also made in solid rosewood. One of the most wanted and most loved tables from Scandinavia. These rosewood tables are getting more and more difficult to find as rosewood is on the forbidden list of tropical woods and is not longer allowed to been cut in the forests.
