Original Gispen 409 chair, designed by W.H. Gispen in 1933. Tubular nickel steel cantilever frame with sling seat and backrest with loose upholstered cushions, the armrests with black Gisolite supports. The Nickel frame with the famous long bakelite armrest, spring back and seat, makes this chair super comfortable to sit in. The  model 409 was produced from 1933 until 1966 and have no reproductions. This model we have in stock was produced between 1958 and 1960. The high quality of the Gispen furniture is still visible. The nickel frame has some wear but overall condition is good. From the model 409 we have 3 pieces in stock.
