Stunning set of Dutch Tubular lounge chairs designed by Paul Schuitema in the 1930s. This set is very rare find because this are the original chairs from the 1930s. They are reupholstered around 1985 and still in very good condition.
This set of easy chairs by Paul Schuitema for D3 Furniture, is model no. 436. The chrome tubular frame with solid black wooden armrests, and have springs in the seat for comfort. Both chairs are in very good condition and with the right comfort.
The tubular steel furniture company d3 gave an innovative twist to the tubular steel framed chairs, and in those years the result was a modern, light design. There main designer was Paul Schuitema (1897-1973). The designs from Paul Schuitema connected simplicity with high comfort. The chairs are both in very good condition.
