1950s Dirk Van Sliedregt Rattan Easy Chair Model 514A

This rattan easy chair, model 514A, was designed by Dirk van Sliedregt in 1952 for Gebr. Jonkers in Noordwolde, Netherlands. It has a black metal frame, and a high back rattan bucket seat, which is connected to the frame by a leather belt at the back. The chair is in very good condition, the rattan has a nice patina. The bucket seat is adjustable with the belt on the back of the frame.
These chairs are quite rare and not many seen.
