This bastiano lounge chair is designed by Tobia Scarpa and produced by Gavina in Italy during the 1960s.
When Tobia Scarpa designed the Bastiano chair in 1962, he wanted to provide seating that was sophisticated and elegant, yet casual and comfortable.
This chair contains a solid has rosewood frame with a beautiful grain, the cushions are by the previous owner reupholstered with leatherette.
