The Victoria and Albert collection was designed by Ron Arad for the “Before and After Now” exhibition, made by Moroso in Italy. Beside small this chair is very comfortable to sit in The choice of the name “VICTORIA AND ALBERT” is a homage to the famous museum in London, where a very important anthology of Ron Arad´s works has been hosted. The great success with the Victoria & Albert armchair encouraged Moroso to look deeper into the aspects analyzing the possibility to use new materials, maintaining the original shape of the product. The search for new materials have given way to a new approach through the creation of Little Albert, mass-produced obtained by a rotationally moulded coloured polyethelene. The shape of the armchair is the same, material changes. The resistance of the material makes it possible for the armchair to be used in closed and open environments. In fact, the plastic used is resistant to thermal shock as well as to sunlight. Little Albert is mass-produced, using the rotational technology, it is completely recyclable, and is coloured.
